    Author: The Musicologian

First off: the name Musicologian was given to my by a theology and church history professor many years ago. He said that I was a unique combination of musician and theologian, and dubbed me the "Musicologian." I think it aptly describes my personality. I am pretty much your basic nerd. I have been in ministry in various capacities for over 30 yrs and currently serve as the Associate Pastor & Minister of Music at Pinecrest Baptist Church in Cordele, GA. I have a ThM in Theology & Church History from Liberty University, an MDiv & an MA in Biblical Counseling from Luther Rice University & Seminary and a BA in Music & a BM in Music Education from Brewton-Parker College. So, like I said, I'm a nerd - I just love studying. I also love reading & writing - especially about history. I do genealogy, spend my days off in grave yards & have traced my roots back to the 1500s. My wife & I have been married since 1996. She's a Registered Nurse. We have a daughter, who is 20 and a son, who is 14.
